Birdwatching
There are
many excellent places for bird watching in East Devon.
For wading, river and sea birds, Seaton Marshes, the Otter,
Exmouth and Axe Estuaries are excellent habitats.
Away from the coast bird watching takes place on Woodbury and
Aylesbeare Common, and Fire Beacon Hill where Buzzards are regular
inhabitants. |

Walking,
Cycling and Riding The
South West Coast Path runs along the East Devon Coast.
East Devon is criss-crossed with bridle paths and foot paths,
including the East Devon Way. Within
the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there are many
areas of open access such as Woodbury Common, Fire Beacon Hill
Nature Reserve, Seaton Marshes, and Ottery Estuary Nature Reserve.
There
are several local businesses offering hacking facilities and bike
hire. |

Off
Road Driving There
are off road driving facilities around East Devon, including the
Landrover Experience Off Road Centre just outside Honiton.
Anything
